HISTORY OF NAPA VALLEY

Shifting our focus, this week we will watch a video on the history of Napa Valley. It is just under 8 mins and filled with great info. California is our largest wine category in terms of sales, and you'll probably be familiar with many of the names mentioned as the wineries they founded are still represented on our shelves, but their role in the establishment of California/North American viticulture is fascinating, and the founding fathers of California wine country saw their share of obstacles.

Please also read over the next chapter: Handling Wine pages 22-29. It's all good to know but the video will be the primary focus of the quiz.
